October Book Discussion Group

The Book Discussion Group at the Manchester District Library meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm to discuss that month’s particular book.

October’s book is Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande, MD, MPH, a work examining quality of life in a person’s last weeks or months and the role medicine can play in achieving not only a good life but also a good end.

You can pick up a copy of each month’s book, as well as a list of the year’s selected books, at the Library. The group’s next meeting will be Wednesday, October 19, at 7pm.
