Block Party Every Wednesday

LEGOs have long been recognized as an educational toy (shh, don’t let the kids know).  If you need any convincing, please read the linked article in School Library Journal.

2009.09.23. legospics 007To promote this learning opportunity and take advantage of the social nature of LEGO clubs, Manchester District Library hosts a LEGO Club every Wednesday throughout the year. Yes, it is free and open to the public. You may bring your own LEGOs, but we also have a huge supply to share with kids of all ages.

Come make some new friends or play with old friends every Wednesday in the library from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. Creations are displayed afterward for others to admire and will remain on display until the next Block Party.
