Banned Books Week Begins

Books are challenged for many reasons. Usually, with the best of intentions, book content is challenged to protect others from subject matter deemed harmful. Also, with the best of intentions,  people fight censorship to protect freedom of speech.wrinkle in time cover

  1. It just seems wild to me that books like A Wrinkle in Time are banned. I agree that perhaps people have good intentions, but I think they should be more concerned with having open conversations with their children instead of censorship.
