Shopping Smarter: Discover hidden ways to save money and share strategies that make the most of your grocery budget. Bring a Sunday paper with inserts if you can. Presented by the library’s own Anne Buckalew.

Tue. 4/23 — 1:30pm
Veteran’s Aid and Attendance Benefit: In addition to a monthly pension, veterans are often eligible for the Aid & Attendance Benefit. To qualify for this supplemental income, veterans must meet certain eligibility requirements and complete necessary paperwork. In this presentation, the Veteran’s Aid and Attendance benefit will be thoroughly explained, including eligibility, coverage and the application process. Professionally presented by Marie Pierce, Arbor Hospice.

The New Health Care Law: What it Means for Everyone: An explanation of the patient protection and Affordable Care Act and how it will affect consumer and senior health coverage. Presented by Karen Gyger, ACA Ombudsman. Call or visit the library circulation desk to sign up – 734-428-8045 .

Duct Tape Wallets: Drop in to make your own duct tape wallet with Karen. Open to kids ages 11 and up. Free, no registration required.
