Bobbie Snow presents “Adopted Ancestors”

On Tuesday, January 15, 2013, Bobbie Snow will present “Adopted Ancestors: How to track down those ancestors who did not grow up in the family home” to the Family History Guild at Manchester District Library. The presentation is open to the public and will begin at 7pm.

Bobbie Snow is Librarian of the Genealogical Society of Washtenaw County, volunteers at the family history library in Saline, lectures on topics of genealogical interest, and teaches “Genealogy 2: the Next Step” through the Washtenaw County College LifeLine Learning Program. She also maintains a web page called Bobbie’s Genealogy Classroom at www.barbsnow.net.

The Family History Guild meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month during the school year to discuss topics related to genealogy, including presentations about research resources, tips for those just getting started, and help for researchers who are stuck. New members always welcome; the group’s meetings are free and open to the public.
