looking ahead

Both the Family History Guild and the Book Discussion Group are taking a break this month for the holidays. That doesn’t mean, though, that there’s nothing in the works!

In January, the Family History Guild will host local genealogist guru Barb Snow on Tuesday, January 15. She’ll talk about how to do research on family members who were adopted – a great topic. More information to come as we get closer to the event.

And the Book Discussion Group is reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It’s a great book and a modern classic, perfect for settling in with on long winter nights. Copies are available now – the Discussion Group will meet on Wednesday, January 23.
