november book discussion

The November meeting of the library’s book discussion group will feature The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It’s a coming-of-age tale about a young boy, a rare book, and a cast of mysterious characters — some of whom want to destroy the book. ReadingGroupGuide says that it is “an ode to the art of reading, but it is also the perfect example of the all-encompassing power of a well-told story.”

Additional copies of the book will be available to check out at the circulation desk. You may also borrow the book in ebook format via Download Destination.

The group will meet on Wednesday, November 28 at 7pm in the Village Room. New members are always welcome; free, no registration required.
