Family History Guild – summer meeting schedule

For our family researchers, summer can be a good time to dig into a project. Opportunities to travel and attend family events often spark interest in learning more about your family history.

All that travel and those special events, though, can also make it tough to attend regular meetings, so the Family History Guild has decided to cancel their July meeting. Enjoy the Chicken Broil that week instead!

The next FHG meeting will be Tuesday, August 21 at 7pm, and will feature tips and tricks for finding those more elusive ancestors by breaking through “brick walls” in your research.

The September meeting (which will be at 7pm on Tues. Sept. 18) will be an Introduction to Family Research class. Beginners especially are invited to attend, though researchers at all levels are welcome. No pre-registration is required; the group meets on the 2nd floor of the library by the Claire Reck Local History Room.
