Spring Student Art Show Coming Up on May 11

Manchester District Library will host the opening of the 2012 Manchester High School Student Art Exhibit on Friday, May 11, from 6-8pm. The Exhibit features 60-80 pieces of original art created by local students under the direction of MHS art teacher Angelina Griffin. The exhibit will include drawings in both colored pencil and chalk pastels, paintings in watercolor and acrylic, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media.

The Opening will be held at the library at 912 City Rd. Refreshments will be provided. The students’ work will remain on display through the end of May.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 428-8045. Parking is available both in the front and rear of the building.
