In honor of National Library Week, Brad Meltzer recorded this brief message:
Libraries in Michigan are facing a number of fiscal challenges right now. This spring’s most pressing issue is the potential repeal of the Personal Property Tax. Changes to the PPT will affect all local governments and agencies, including fire and police stations, libraries, schools, townships and villages. If PPT is repealed without replacement revenue, MDL would lose 10% of its annual income. Please read more about PPT and consider joining the movement to Replace Don’t Erase Michigan’s Personal Property Tax.
