poetry at the Wild Acorn

April is National Poetry Month, and to celebrate, local art gallery the Wild Acorn is hosting “Poetry from Birth to Death” this Saturday (4/7) at 7pm. Readings by Julia Strimer and Peter Knox will be followed by refreshments and discussion.

Poems are meant to be heard – read aloud, listened to, even sung (when they’re song lyrics). This is an excellent opportunity to hear and discuss poetry, which comes in many different types and styles.
