David W. Nelson has been a studio potter for 27 years, exhibiting in Art Fairs throughout the country. Lucky for Manchester, David’s current studio is located here. A member of the Manchester District Library Board representing Manchester Village, and a weekly volunteer at the library, the library is most pleased to present the talent of one of our own.
From wood fired stoneware to traditional glazing, David’s art has a grand appeal. And this is your chance to meet the man.… Friday, February 17 at 6 pm, David will be in the house to talk about his art and answer questions. Pieces will also be available for purchase; David will donate 10% of his sales this night to the Library. For a quick glimpse of a few of David’s pieces, visit his web site davidwnelson.wordpress.com.
This event is FREE and open to the public. We’ll have light refreshments for attendees, no pre-registration required. Give the library a call if you have any questions, and feel free to drop in anytime this month to view the great selection of David’s pottery that is on display in the adult reading area.
