Join us on Monday, Aug. 22 at 12pm as we welcome Stacy Kempher and her presentation about Michigan Native Americans!

Stacy graduated from Manchester High School in 2009 and has spent the summer working nearby at Hayes State Park as an Explorer Guide. Before she finishes her work for the summer, she’s coming to the library to share what she’s learned about Michigan Native Americans.

Kids ages 5 and up are invited to bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy while Stacy reads Native American tales and talks about Michigan tribes. After the presentation, everyone can create their own dream catcher. Parents and siblings are welcome, too — Stacy says the craft takes some patience, so may not be suitable for smaller kids.

Please pre-register before Wed. Aug. 17 so that Stacy can bring enough craft supplies. You can sign up at the circulation desk. by calling the library at 734.428.8045, or by emailing the circulation department.
