The Knit Night crew have been showing off a lot of great projects lately at their Thursday meetings, including the following:
- Illusion Knitting – create 3D effects in washcloths and more with these funky patterns
- William Morris – he brought beautiful pattern and color to the Arts and Crafts movement; now you can add Morris-inspired prints to your next quilting project using Michelle Hill’s line of fabrics.
- Felting soap! This is a fun gift to make, looks great, and is simple enough for kids to help with. Free instructions available at the Living Crafts web site.
Knit Night takes place every Thursday from 6:30-8pm in the first-floor conference room. Call the library at 428-8045 for more information. No registration required, and all types of crafts and levels of experience are welcome.
